Attention Contestants:

The license for New Mexico has been found as of August 23rd , 2009 by Tracey Keel of Albuqueruqe, NM. Congrats to our first lucky winner! Remember there is a rod and tackle box somewhere in New Mexico and all three playing pieces in Colorado still to be found!

The license for Colorado has been found as of August 29th, 2009 again by Tracy keel, Robert Roach and Ronny Keel all of Albuqueruqe, NM. As of August 26th, 2009 the first clues for the Fishing Rod have been posted. So get out there and find Bubba's lost tackle before someone else does- like Tracey and Robert.

Tracy Keel and Robert Roach have done it again! they have found Bubba's lost fishing rod in New Mexico as of September, 10th at Eagle Nest Lake. Congratulations and good hunting is order for these two! The fishing rod in Colorado and both Tackle boxes are still out there, better get on the ball and stay a step ahead of Tracy and Robert if you want a chance to win!

As of September, 18th Tracey Keel and Robert Roach have found the Colorado fishing rod. Congratulations to these two on their hunting skills. Tracey tells me she made 3 trips to Eagle Nest and Echo Lakes before finding the fishing rods. All that is left are the two tackle boxes and the first of these clues will be released September, 23rd.

It's Official, ALL OF THE CONTEST PRIZE PIECES HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO BUBBA!

Tracey Keel and Robert Roach ended up with 5 of the 6 prize pieces and Betsy Cummins with the other prize piece. Tracey and Robert deserve everything they got. These two drove over 2500 miles, spent hours of time (sometimes into the late morning like 3 am) and money in finding and returning the prize pieces. Good job to everyone who played along in this years contest. Next years contest will be posted here in February of 2010.

Contest outline and rules

The Fish Phone is proud to present, "Bubba! Where's My Tackle, 2009?" This year not only will you be looking for a tackle box like last years contest; you'll also have to find a fishing rod and a fishing license for three different prizes and a shot at the grand prize.

Somewhere in New Mexico and Colorado, Bubba has lost his tackle and he needs your help in finding it!

Bubba will reward the anglers who return, Bubba's Fishing License, Fishing Rod and Tackle Box to The Fish Phone by calling 505-803-1143. There will be individual sets of prize pieces in each state (license, rod and tackle box), one set hidden in New Mexico and one set hidden in Colorado, Thus making a total of 6 separate qualifying prize pieces (license, rod and tackle box), . The prize pieces (Fishing License, Fishing Rod and Tackle Box) will be on public lands and will not be hidden on private property.

Bubba will reward the anglers who find the three playing pieces in each state with prizes for each piece.

Plus, each person who finds a prize piece or for each prize found by a single person will grant them one entry for the grand prize package! Bubba Bucks are redeemable coupons in exchange for sponsors goods and services; see below for a listing of prizes to get an idea of the prizes available.

Bubba will be giving out clues as to the location of the "Lost Tackle" throughout the summer and fall starting July 29th , all you have to do is:

-Get the clues as they are released

-Put them together

-Find the tackle box before someone else

-Get the tackle box back to Bubba

13 clues will be released over a 13 week period starting Monday- July 29^th, 2009. There will be 2 different sets of clues, 1. Colorado 2. New Mexico. When a clue is released it will be available only on The Fish Phone's; phone line (877-88-Go-Fish) and web-site (www.thefishphone.com).

Another 3 special clues will be released at sponsor locations in each state on special release dates, August 21st, September 18th and October 16th.

Weekly Clues will be posted as they are released on the fish Phone's- phone-line and web-site starting July 29^th and ending on October 21^st.

The last clue, Clue #13 will be released on the fish Phone's phone-line and web-site at 8am on October, 21^st, 2009.

All previously posted clues will be available on-line and can be referenced throughout the contest.

The prizes awarded to the Anglers who find and return one or more of the prize pieces for "Bubba! Where's My Tackle, 2009" to The Fish Phone (by calling 505-803-1143) will receive their prize(s) within 2 weeks after notifying The Fish Phone. For each angler who finds a prize piece or for each prize piece found by an angler, grants one attempt to win the Grand Prize Package. On October 25th, 2009 the contest will conclude where the Grand Prize Package will be awarded to one of the 6 qualifying stakeholders from both states by means of random drawing.
